Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive estimates and develop proposals ahead of bid deadlines.
- Engage in pre and post-project evaluations.
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to formulate accurate estimates.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, contractors, and sales teams to create competitive bids.
- Assess and modify estimates based on variables impacting costs, including production timelines, materials, and labor.
- Maintain thorough records of both estimated and actual expenses.
- Conduct field evaluations to support estimate preparation.
- Solicit bids from vendors and subcontractors for various projects.
- Examine proposal specifications and drawings to ascertain the scope of work and necessary estimate components.
- Keep updated and precise job cost records for future reference.

- Oversee construction projects from initial conception through to completion.

- Generate profit forecasts, estimate expenses, and schedule deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Regularly review the quality of work with the project team to ensure adherence to project standards.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years in an estimating or project management capacity is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Extensive knowledge of the construction sector and the complete building process, including codes, blueprints, permits, equipment, materials, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with construction or project management software is preferred.
