Overview of the Role:

As a Senior Land Surveying Specialist at CONSOR Engineers, you will oversee field operations, conduct records research, coordinate projects, and analyze boundary survey calculations. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed survey reports, drawings, and maps for various construction initiatives. You will report directly to the regional operations manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage survey field operations efficiently.
  • Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of survey equipment.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in surveying technology.
  • Perform precise calculations and apply trigonometric principles to interpret survey data.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and surveying software such as AutoCAD, Carlson, Topcon Magnet, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, and Geopak.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications accurately.
  • A minimum of 10 years of surveying experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • A valid Land Surveyor license in Tennessee is required, or the capability to obtain one.
  • Expertise in both conventional and advanced surveying techniques across public and private sectors.
  • Strong understanding of trigonometric principles and their applications in surveying.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
  • This position involves a hybrid work environment, balancing office tasks with fieldwork, and may require occasional exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands.
