Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations and field assessments for Energy sector accounts, specifically in Power Generation and Renewable Energy.
  • Effectively communicate assessment results to underwriters to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with clients to implement loss control strategies, analyze findings from loss control assessments, and execute recommendations.
  • Engage in organizational initiatives aimed at improving team efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in risk insurance or within the Power Generation and Renewable Energy sectors.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of process safety management and loss control mechanisms.
  • Ability to evaluate risks associated with environmental factors such as wind, flooding, and seismic activity.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in meeting deadlines and managing multiple assignments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong computer proficiency and a client-oriented mindset.
  • Professional Engineer designation is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Physical capability to perform job-related activities and adhere to safety equipment requirements.

Impact Creation:
  • Perform loss control inspections and reviews for diverse Power Generation and Renewable Energy accounts.
  • Facilitate regular client service meetings involving underwriting, brokers, and clients.
  • Analyze and prioritize risk improvement strategies in collaboration with clients.
  • Develop engineering service budgets tailored to client needs.
  • Review field survey reports related to Power Generation and Renewable Energy.
  • Conduct property loss prevention surveys for key facilities.
  • Provide technical analysis of facility loss prevention features, including:
    • Evaluation of process safety management programs and equipment safety features.
    • Identification of occupancy hazards and assessment of protection adequacy.
    • Analysis of external risk factors affecting facilities.
    • Estimation of potential fire and natural disaster losses.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members.
  • Participate in regional or global projects and presentations.
