Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations and on-site inspections for Energy sector accounts, focusing on Power Generation and Renewable Energy.
  • Communicate assessment results to underwriting teams to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with clients to implement loss control strategies, analyze findings from loss control visits, and execute recommendations.
  • Engage in organizational initiatives aimed at improving team performance.

Qualifications for Success:
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology.
  • Over 10 years of experience in risk insurance or within the Power Generation and Renewable Energy sectors.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of process safety management.
  • Ability to evaluate risks associated with natural disasters such as wind, flood, and earthquakes.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions with or without established guidelines.
  • Proficient in managing timelines and delivering quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a client-centric approach.
  • Industry experience as a Professional Engineer is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Physical capability to perform job-related activities and to use necessary safety equipment.

Your Impact:
  • Execute loss control inspections and reviews for diverse Power Generation and Renewable Energy accounts.
  • Facilitate regular client service meetings involving underwriting, brokers, and clients.
  • Analyze and enhance risk management strategies for accounts, prioritizing and implementing improvements in collaboration with clients.
  • Develop engineering service budgets tailored to client needs.
  • Review and assess Power Generation and Renewable Energy field survey reports.
  • Conduct or supervise property loss prevention surveys at key facilities.
  • Provide technical analysis of loss prevention features within facilities, including:
    • Evaluating process safety management systems and equipment loss control features.
    • Identifying hazards and assessing protection adequacy.
    • Evaluating external risk factors impacting facilities.
    • Estimating potential losses from fire and natural disasters.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members.
  • Participate in regional or global projects and presentations.
