Customer Banking Specialist

Position Overview: The Retail Relationship Banker plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to customers while identifying their financial needs and providing tailored solutions. This position requires collaboration within the branch and with various partners to enhance the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with customers to assess their needs and foster loyalty.
- Conduct needs assessments to recommend personalized banking solutions, including everyday banking, lending options, and investment products.
- Guide clients on digital banking tools to simplify their banking experience.
- Support customer transactions and address inquiries effectively.
- Build new relationships within the community to drive business growth.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards during the lending process.
- Make informed credit recommendations based on sound principles and established policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about financial products and market trends to provide relevant advice.
- Identify and report any suspicious activities in line with anti-money laundering regulations.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services.
- Post-secondary education in a related field is desirable.
- Strong understanding of personal and small business banking needs.
- Proficient in using technology and digital tools for customer engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building customer relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
