Customer Engagement Specialist

The Customer Engagement Specialist serves as the primary liaison between members and the Credit Union, ensuring outstanding service and nurturing strong member connections.
Position Highlights:
- Direct Hire Opportunity
- Hourly Rate: $30-$31
Work Schedule:
Availability required for 4 weekdays (9:30 AM - 5:30 PM) and Saturdays (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM). Flexibility is essential to accommodate business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to members, volunteers, and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate actively in branch, departmental, and company-wide meetings.
- Safeguard member and organizational information by adhering to confidentiality policies.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Execute teller transactions accurately and reconcile cash accounts regularly.
- Address and resolve member inquiries with precise information.
- Proactively recommend and offer products and services that align with members' financial needs.
- Collect necessary information from members to complete applications for membership and loans, ensuring all documentation is gathered.
- Maintain accurate and current member accounts and profiles.
- Assist with operational audits as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of experience in banking or cash handling.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are crucial.
- Proficiency in basic math and financial calculations.
- Experience with cash handling machines and familiarity with business software (MS Windows, MS Office).
- Willingness to work on Saturdays, holidays, and during overtime hours as necessary.
Compensation:
$29.00 to $31.00 per week
