Position Overview:

Colliers Engineering & Design is on the lookout for a dedicated Project Management Associate to oversee various aspects of project execution, including leadership, financial oversight, and client relations within our project design team. The role encompasses project management duties, financial performance analysis, technical proposal preparation, invoicing, budget monitoring, staff supervision, and scheduling of critical projects. The Project Management Associate will utilize Autocad and collaborate with existing office personnel and senior management to ensure successful project completion within defined budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing Land Development Plans, Stormwater Management systems, Water and Sanitary Sewer systems, and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control measures.
  • Overseeing multiple projects and managing competing deadlines effectively.
  • Ensuring Quality Control throughout project phases.
  • Facilitating regulatory agency permitting processes.
  • Preparing proposals including scope and budget considerations.
  • Managing financial aspects including invoice preparation and accounts receivable.
  • Coordinating project schedules.
  • Maintaining client relationships.
  • Providing mentorship and training to junior staff.
  • Executing additional project-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
Professional Engineer (PE) Certification is preferred.
Familiarity with local land use regulations and processes is essential.
Proficiency in stormwater management, NPDES permitting, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading, and other site development designs is necessary.
Demonstrated skills in Civil 3D for site layout design from concept to completion are crucial.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with colleagues, clients, and regulatory bodies are required.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are a must.
Attention to detail with strong analytical and judgment skills is essential.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment is important.
