Key Responsibilities:
- Designing Land Development Plans, Stormwater Management systems, Water and Sanitary Sewer layouts, and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control measures.
- Overseeing multiple projects while managing competing deadlines effectively.
- Ensuring quality control throughout project phases.
- Facilitating regulatory agency permitting processes.
- Preparing project proposals, including scope and budget considerations.
- Managing financial aspects, including invoice generation and accounts receivable.
- Coordinating project schedules.
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
- Providing mentorship and training to junior staff.
- Executing additional project-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. A Professional Engineer (PE) Certification is preferred. Candidates must have a solid understanding of local land use regulations and processes (specifically in PA), along with technical expertise in stormwater management, NPDES permitting, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading, and other site development designs. Proficiency in Civil 3D is essential, with the capability to design site layouts from concept to completion. Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with colleagues, clients, and regulatory bodies are crucial, as are excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are vital for success in this role.
