SUPERVISOR: Guest Experience Manager
Role Summary
As a part-time Usher, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors at the SAP Center and Tech CU Arena. You will embody the principles of exceptional service and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries related to directions, events, and parking.
- Assist in the security screening process to maintain a safe atmosphere for all attendees.
- Enforce entry and exit protocols, as well as the prohibited items policy.
- Verify tickets at entry points and aisles to ensure proper seating arrangements.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to assist guests with seating concerns.
- Facilitate access to premium service areas, ensuring high-quality service.
- Manage access to floor seating for ticketed and general admission events.
- Provide guidance to guests in WCA and ASL seating areas, including emergency procedure briefings.
- Monitor designated areas to ensure proper access and enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, ensuring a tidy environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong situational awareness to identify issues and opportunities.
- Ability to read and understand ticket information.
- Critical thinking skills to effectively communicate directions to guests.
- Capability to work collaboratively with diverse guests to meet their needs.
- Positive communication skills, even in challenging situations.
- Dependability in maintaining good attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, and crouch for extended periods.
- Capability to bend, reach overhead, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Physical ability to navigate stairs and catwalks during events.
- Ability to stand for long durations, both indoors and outdoors.
