About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Client Development Executive to join our team at Clockwork. This position is focused on driving sales of our private investment management technology and service offerings.

You will work alongside multiple teams at the company to identify, engage, and acquire client relationships with global private investors represented across the spectrum of end asset owners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and close client relationships with global private investors
  • Assess client and prospect needs and understand how Clockwork can add value to private investors of different shapes and sizes
  • Assist in enhancing client development team processes and efforts
  • Evaluate competitive and alternative landscape to understand differentiation and/or complementary positioning against other offerings
  • Liaise with Clockwork marketing and investment teams toward improving the company's position in the market
  • Help to inform the Clockwork Universe technology platform development by providing market feedback


Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, specifically with experience in the investment management industry
  • Experience and comfort managing client relationships from prospecting through closing and post-close
  • Exceptional organizational skills to help manage numerous relationships and a fast-changing environment
  • Self-starter with experience in a startup environment or a desire toward entrepreneurship
  • Problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Ideally brings a network of family offices and high net worth individuals
  • Willingness to travel if/when needed
