Bookkeeper and Office Administrator

Mickelberry Gardens is a Portland-based dietary supplement company seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper and Office Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our staff and management team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including entering checks, bills, and receipts into our accounting software.
- Provide payroll support, including totaling staff hours and gathering necessary information for each pay period.
- Offer excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries via email and telephone, and assisting in-person customers with their local pick-up orders.
- Generate invoices, packing slips, and other shipping documents using Quickbooks software and Excel.
- Assist with inventory management, including implementing Advanced Inventory through Quickbooks Enterprise platform and performing weekly and monthly inventory management tasks.
- Support purchasing and other as-needed projects, including research, building spreadsheets, tracking information, and developing company documents.
- Paid sick time and vacation time.
- Health insurance reimbursement for employees working 30+ hours per week.
- 30-minute lunch break and snacks, tea, and coffee provided.
- $40 per month in Mickelberry Gardens products for personal use and sharing with family and friends.
- $5.00 daily reimbursement for commuting via bus or bike.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- 18 years or older.
- Comfortable handling customer complaints.
- Available to work weekdays.
