Associate Director, Search Fund Project Manager

Stanford University is seeking an Associate Director to lead the Search Fund Project, a unique initiative that aims to advance the field of search fund investing. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty and industry experts to design and implement a comprehensive strategy for the project.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage the project's budget and resources.
- Lead the biennial Stanford Search Fund Study, in partnership with faculty, to analyze trends and insights in the search fund industry.
- Build relationships with key industry stakeholders, including investors, CEOs, and searchers.
- Design and implement the biennial Search Fund Conference, featuring expert speakers and panel discussions.
- Develop and maintain current student resources, including alumni lists and investor databases.
- Assist with the creation and coordination of search fund courses.
- Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to draw accurate conclusions from data.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Comfort with technology and data management.
- Advanced degree, preferably an MBA.
- Strong experience with data analysis tools, such as R or Python.
- Knowledge of the search fund industry or private equity, with a focus on returns calculation and assessment.
- Competitive salary range: $95,000 to $139,000 per year.
