Marketing and Engagement Director

Stanford University's Precourt Institute for Energy is seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Engagement Director to lead the development and execution of strategic marketing plans and engagement strategies to advance the institute's mission and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and engagement, with experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels. They will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, faculty, and external partners.

The Marketing and Engagement Director will work closely with the institute's communication director and other senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and engagement strategy that aligns with the institute's goals and objectives.

The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. They will also have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans and engagement strategies to meet the institute's mission and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, faculty, and external partners.
  • Work closely with the institute's communication director and other senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and engagement strategy.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and eight years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
  • Extensive knowledge of strategic analysis, customer segmentation strategies, and business and marketing planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in integrated marketing strategy and execution across channels.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the fields of energy and the environment.
  • High level of diplomacy and relationship management.
