Job Title: Senior Formulation Scientist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Formulation Scientist to join our team in Aurora. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) slurry formulations. This includes analyzing structure-activity relationships, proposing mechanisms of action, and utilizing advanced statistical analysis to support your findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative CMP slurry solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering and analytical teams to develop and optimize CMP slurry formulations.
  • Conduct experiments to understand the interactions between abrasive particles, polymers, and small molecules.
  • Analyze experiment results using statistical tools and plan future experiments accordingly.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior team members to foster their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or Physical Chemistry.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience as a formulation scientist in relevant industries.
  • Strong experimental design and analysis skills.
  • Experience working with polymers, surfactants, or particles.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete projects independently or within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in CMP applications and slurry design concepts.
  • Demonstrated track record of project completion and effective communication.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis for experiment validation.
