Job Title: Senior Platform DevSecOps Engineer

As a Senior Platform DevSecOps Engineer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of software development, integrating development and operations through a comprehensive cloud-based platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, implement, and integrate cloud-based compute/network/storage infrastructure
  • Support modernizing the program platform's design through emerging technologies and DevOps/DevSecOps tools and automation
  • Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines
  • Leverage company and industry best practices to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions
  • Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management
  • Provide operational support for the platform
Requirements:
  • BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
  • S. government TS/SCI/C1 Poly issued security clearance is required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef)
  • Experience with scanning tools (e.g., Multi-disciplined infrastructure experience with compute, networks, storage, and virtualization)
  • Experience developing, testing & delivering applications within a DevSecOps framework
  • Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
  • Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux-based Operating Systems
  • Experience with RedHat Linux
  • Experience with Cloud-based technologies, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Commercial Cloud Services (C2S)
