Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary:

Paladin Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a cloud-based platform that integrates development and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a cloud-based platform that enables efficient delivery of high-quality, secure software.
  • Provide automated services that enable software engineers to focus on developing mission capabilities.
  • Develop and implement DevOps/DevSecOps tools and automation to streamline processes, enhance collaboration, and accelerate release cycles.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions.
  • Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management.
Requirements:
  • U.S. government TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance is required.
  • Experience with RedHat Linux and cloud-based technologies, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)/ Commercial Cloud Services (C2S).
  • Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go).
  • Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security + CE or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab).
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
  • Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify, Anchore).
  • Multi-disciplined infrastructure experience with compute, networks, storage, and virtualization.
Education:

Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience.
