Job Title: Senior Platform DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform DevSecOps Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a cloud-based platform that meets the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a cloud-based platform that integrates development and operations through a comprehensive cloud-based platform.
  • Provide operational support for the platform and collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions.
  • Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management.
  • Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go).
  • Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security + CE or equivalent).
  • A U.S. government TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
