Job Title: Senior Platform Scrum Master

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Scrum Master to join our team. As a Senior Platform Scrum Master, you will play a key role in leading our agile platform product team to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Job Summary:

The Senior Platform Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating agile cadence, including scrum meetings, sprint reviews, PI planning, and agile metrics. You will also assist with the design and implementation of the platform, ensuring seamless integration with development and operational environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the transition of a tightly coupled system to a modern platform infrastructure
  • Eliminate impediments to keep the team focused on objectives
  • Assist the product owner in backlog grooming and agile scrum event preparations
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to design and implement development and mission solutions
  • Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise VMware computing environments
  • Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management
  • Ensure security and compliance are integrated into the platform
  • Provide operational support for the platform
Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance is required
  • Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills to successfully work with various teams
  • Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services
  • Experience with containerization using technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker
  • Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based Operating Systems
  • Experience with VMware
  • Experience with programming/automation/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
  • Current CompTIA Security + or ability to obtain within 90 days
