Position Overview

We are seeking an Account Manager to take charge of and cultivate relationships with our North American clientele. Our Account Managers are experienced construction professionals who act as trusted advisors to our customers. The essence of their role is to foster relationships with key clients, comprehend their business strategies and pressing challenges, and guide the clients' journey to achieve their objectives while driving growth for Buildots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with essential client stakeholders, particularly company executives.
  • Engage with customers to grasp their goals, challenges, and objectives, ensuring our product aligns with their needs.
  • Promote product adoption and utilization by offering guidance and support to clients, helping them maximize the benefits of Buildots' technology.
  • Identify upselling and expansion opportunities within existing accounts, collaborating closely with the sales team to enhance revenue.
  • Provide clients with regular updates on product improvements, new features, and industry developments that may affect their operations.
  • Work with product teams to relay customer feedback, insights, and requirements for ongoing product enhancement.
  • Monitor metrics related to client adoption success and the value generated for customers, planning and initiating actions for improvement.
  • Create internal materials that showcase Buildots' impact on accounts, utilizing system data to support account expansion and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a construction or engineering professional, with a minimum of 8 years in a relevant US organization. Experience with large-scale projects and on-site work is a plus.
  • Proven experience in Change Management, collaborating with executive-level clients to implement software solutions in industries such as Construction, Oil & Gas, Mining, or Manufacturing.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; we seek a personable individual.
  • In-depth understanding of project management and business processes within the construction sector, along with their integration with technology. Familiarity with new technologies on-site is advantageous.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive mindset, capable of taking tasks from concept to execution and thriving in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to address client needs effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Candidates should be located in the Eastern or Central time zones.
