Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Carrier Invoicing Coordinator to join our team at Courier Network Inc.

About the Position:

  • This role involves creating and managing customer invoices, resolving any discrepancies with carrier rates, and maintaining accurate records.
  • The successful candidate will also assist with other carrier and customer activities as required and process claims and accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Develop and implement efficient processes for creating and managing customer invoices.
  2. Collaborate with on-demand business development teams to understand client needs and requirements.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
  4. Communicate effectively with clients and their accounting contacts to ensure excellent customer service.
  5. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably with a minimum of 1 year of logistics experience.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures.
  • Ability to deal with claims, collections, and settlements.
  • Solid data entry skills with regard to speed and accuracy.
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills.

Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
