Your Role: Global Procurement Intern

As a Global Procurement Intern, you will collaborate with the Global Procurement team, contributing to Elanco through your insights and recommendations on significant, challenging projects. This position offers exposure to various Global Procurement functions, including Direct and Indirect Procurement. You will deepen your understanding of supplier management and the sourcing process. Potential projects may involve supplier risk assessment, supplier management, proposal evaluation, spend data analysis, category strategy development, environmental sustainability initiatives, governance, and contract negotiation.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Assist in sourcing initiatives for goods and services.
  • Engage with Elanco's Global Procurement leaders to gain insights into the diverse areas within the Global Procurement organization and its processes.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for critical procurement projects.
  • Conduct regular updates and presentations to executive leadership.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
  • Education: Currently pursuing a master's degree in a business-related field is preferred, though strong undergraduate candidates with a focus on Business or Supply Chain will be considered.
  • Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and adaptability.
