Your Role: Global Procurement Intern

As a Global Procurement Intern, you will engage with the Global Procurement team, contributing your insights and recommendations on essential, challenging projects that are critical to our business. This role will provide you with exposure to various Global Procurement functions, including Direct and Indirect Procurement. You will enhance your understanding of supplier management and the sourcing process. Projects may involve supplier risk assessment, supplier management, proposal evaluation, spend data analysis, category strategy, environmental sustainability, governance, and contract negotiation.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Assist in sourcing initiatives for products or services.
  • Network with Elanco's Global Procurement leaders to gain insights into the different areas within the Global Procurement organization and its processes.
  • Offer recommendations for a significant procurement project.
  • Conduct regular updates and presentations to executive leadership.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
  • Education: Currently pursuing a Business-related master's degree is preferred, but strong undergraduate candidates with a focus on Business or Supply Chain will be considered.
  • Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Proven self-motivation with a high level of responsibility and professionalism.
