AUDIT INTERN
As an intern at RSM, you will collaborate with a diverse range of companies across various sectors. You will cultivate robust working relationships with clients by gaining insights into their operations and challenges. Interns engage in multiple team projects each year, contributing to various aspects of each assignment rather than focusing on a single element. Our respectful team environment encourages associates to perform at their best while harmonizing their careers with their personal lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehending clients' requirements and expectations, along with their business operations, industry standards, accounting practices, and internal control systems.
- Gaining familiarity with the RSM audit methodology and tools.
- Identifying risks and assessing the client's internal control framework.
- Conducting substantive tests and internal control evaluations to pinpoint and address accounting or reporting discrepancies.
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with established formats.
- Completion of 90 credit hours.
- Pursuing a B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Major in Accounting.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as necessary, with reliable transportation arrangements.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.

At RSM, compensation reflects the experiences, performance, and skills of employees in their current roles. The salary range for this position is influenced by various factors, including education, skills, work experience, and location.
Compensation Range: $28 - $33 per hour
