Customer Care Specialist

M/I Homes, Inc. is seeking a skilled Customer Care Manager to join our team. As a key member of our customer service department, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by performing inspections and repairs for completed homes in accordance with product and company warranties and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Post Closing Customer Visits (PCCV) and other inspections to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Complete work orders as required to meet customer needs, providing problem-solving on-site.
- Contact and schedule subcontractors to perform work as needed.
- Initiate service work orders, schedule appointments with subcontractors, monitor progress, and keep customers informed of work order status.
- Direct and supervise subcontractors to improve efficiency and workflow.
- Maintain service vehicle inventories, including necessary materials and equipment.
- Participate in departmental meetings to discuss service issues, work schedules, and enhance job quality and performance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, combined with one to five years of related work experience and/or training.
- Good knowledge of the home building industry, preferably within the scope of customer service requirements and construction processes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Good conflict management and problem-solving skills.
This role requires:
- Some exposure to undesirable environmental conditions with minimal health and safety risks.
- Travel demands, which require a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
