Role Overview:
The Specialty Gas Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in enhancing the market presence of Specialty Gas Products among both current and potential clients.

This position involves direct sales efforts and collaboration with regional account managers, ensuring accountability for product oversight, market expansion, and the achievement of sales targets within the designated area.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive growth of Specialty Gas Products through direct sales and teamwork with account managers.
  • Take ownership of product management and develop market growth strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Increase sales and profit margins by effectively presenting the company's specialty gas offerings to new and existing clients.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and contracts, including pricing and delivery timelines based on product availability.
  • Provide comprehensive training on specialty gas products, including customer presentations and recommendations.
  • Offer technical support and service for all Specialty Gas requirements.
  • Conduct market research to monitor competition, pricing, and product offerings.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues by investigating concerns and proposing solutions.
  • Maintain communication with management by submitting activity and results reports.
  • Suggest improvements in processes, products, and services.
  • Manage existing accounts and oversee account renewals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  • Consideration for up to 4 years of additional sales experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in outside business-to-business sales.
  • Proven relationship management and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to identify target accounts and implement effective action plans.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
