As a New Home Sales Specialist, you will be instrumental in assisting clients throughout their home purchasing experience. Your role will involve presenting our diverse range of product features, floor plans, and designs tailored to meet the unique preferences of each client. You will act as a reliable consultant, working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth homebuilding journey and optimal customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform visiting clients into prospective homeowners within our communities.
  • Leverage various resources, including marketing materials, model homes, and realtor partnerships, to drive sales.
  • Achieve sales and customer service targets independently on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Stay updated on market dynamics and competitor activities to uphold M/I Homes' leading position in the industry.
  • Inform potential buyers about M/I Homes' offerings, community benefits, financing options, and more.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for homebuyers, providing support from the initial consultation to the closing of the home.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and participate in division meetings to ensure effective communication and a streamlined homebuilding process.
  • Uphold M/I Homes' brand image by overseeing community aesthetics and home upkeep.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Associate's degree or equivalent training in sales and marketing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in new home sales with a proven record of success in sales volume and customer satisfaction.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to balance individual responsibilities and teamwork.
  • Demonstrates adaptability, confidence, creativity, resilience, and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in computer skills and open to embracing new technologies.

Work Environment:

  • Availability to work on weekends is required.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must possess a personal cell phone for business purposes and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to showcase homes across multiple levels and stages of development.
