We are on the lookout for a driven Mid-Level Systems Engineer to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will utilize a multidisciplinary approach to engage in requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, testing and evaluation, maintainability, and analysis across the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies to ensure precise and timely GEOINT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, testing and evaluation, maintainability, and analysis across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agencies.
  • Conduct planning and analysis of user requirements, ensuring traceability of architectures, procedures, and issues to enhance existing systems and evaluate cloud service capabilities.
  • Design solutions based on requirement analysis and emerging technologies while mentoring junior engineers in skill development.
  • Assist in capturing and translating mission and customer requirements into system/capability requirements and solutions.
  • Support the analysis and allocation of requirements to system architecture components and executing programs.
  • Facilitate systems integration activities.
  • Contribute to Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.
  • Assist in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related technical/scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM degree program, or equivalent mid-level experience as a Systems Engineer.
  • Mid-level experience in government or industry in relevant areas including DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process, or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.
  • Mid-level system engineering experience in government or industry.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Frameworks.
  • INCOSE Associate System Engineering Professional (ASEP) certification.
  • Documented experience in geospatial intelligence.
  • Active participation in professional organizations such as ACSM, ASCE, ASPRS, OGC, SAREM, or USGIF.
  • Understanding of photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit and work in a cubicle on a workstation in a SCIF for approximately eight (8) hours each workday.
  • Frequent communication with co-workers, management, and customers, requiring the ability to exchange accurate information effectively.
Education Qualifications:
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related technical/scientific fields, or equivalent mid-level experience as a Systems Engineer.
Years of Experience:
  • 10+ years with High School Diploma.
  • 6+ years with Bachelor's Degree.
