Responsibilities

We are seeking a GEOINT Systems Analyst II to join our dynamic team, providing comprehensive Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) services to a National Customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining capabilities and solutions for upcoming space systems through various readiness evaluations and independent review teams.
  • Engage in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Engineering working groups to review and evaluate the maturity of engineering artifacts, CONOPS, interfaces, and architectural products.
  • Support teams across space, ground, and enterprise in developing architecture and requirement baselines, assessing mission capabilities, and evaluating system schedules and risks while aiding in test and verification strategies.
  • Contribute to the formulation of measurable requirements based on customer specifications, system planning, design, and acquisition logistics.
  • Ensure compliance of requirements with client specifications and government standards through formal verification processes.
  • Evaluate performance using established criteria and technical performance measures.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure relevance to current systems and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation.
  • Engage in the adoption of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices within both customer and company environments.
  • Apply MBSE principles to major system acquisitions within the GEOINT domain.
  • Evaluate engineering artifacts and create models of mission systems utilizing a suite of MBSE tools, including DOORS Next Generation, Cameo, and other commercial off-the-shelf tools.
  • Facilitate and/or engage in collaborative discussions between GEOINT space system subject matter experts (SMEs) and MBSE and SysML specialists to identify and implement effective modeling solutions.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI Clearance and be eligible for a Polygraph.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 0 to 2 years with a master's degree in Systems Engineering or related technical fields, or 8 to 10 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma.
  • Proven experience in Systems Engineering areas, including but not limited to Requirements Engineering, Systems Integration, and Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) management.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues to advance organizational objectives.
  • Commitment to understanding and effectively operating within various SETA, Federally Funded Research and Development (FFRDC), and governmental lines of authority.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead and support multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to autonomously support customer needs and clearly articulate ideas both orally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Requirements Engineering, CONOPS development, and system integration for End-to-End Systems Engineering.
  • Experience in identifying user needs and gaps, proposing potential solutions, and analyzing alternatives.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard MBSE tools and modeling methodologies for effective systems engineering model production.
  • Experience with Confluence and Jira tools.
  • Experience in Agile Development and SAFE Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge and practical application of UML/SysML modeling languages and their integration into MBSE solutions.
  • Understanding of how system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities are facilitated by MBSE throughout the engineering lifecycle.
  • OCSMP Level 1, 2, or 3 certifications.
