About the Role

GForce Life Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Contracting and Supplier Relations Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for managing the operational lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Manage offshore resources in the contracting process, review contracts, and work closely with legal teams to ensure contract compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor processes to ensure compliance with the internal controls framework and support continued process improvement.
  • Project Management: Assist in managing projects that drive the department's efficiency and productivity.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Ariba Contracts Compliance: Ensure the integrity of contract hierarchies in Ariba and maintain compliance with the internal controls framework.
  • Contract Framework and Workflow: Work closely with the Legal team to ensure proper contract framework and workflow structure in Ariba.
  • Agreement Reviews: Review agreements for language in accordance with the agreed-upon legal matrix.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert for the Ariba contracts process.
  • Supplier Enablement: Coordinate with representatives from other departments and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of MSAs and sub-agreements.
  • Contracting Process Improvement: Provide leading practices and guidance on the contracting process and best use of Ariba module.
  • IT Support: Coordinate with Ariba administrator and Ariba support for the implementation of enhancements.
  • Reporting and Dashboarding: Provide reporting and dashboarding to provide transparency in the overall contracting process.
  • User Experience: Improve the overall Ariba user experience by being the point person for training, change management, and problem resolution.
  • Internal and External Audits: Support both internal and external auditors and work closely with internal controls to ensure J-SOX compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with one or more of the following: Contracts Management and Review, Contracts Paralegal experience, Contracts Negotiation.
  • Skills: Exhibit deep knowledge and interpretation of contract language, ability to make quality business decisions and action those decisions, experience with SAP ARIBA and with a large ERP is required, preferably with SAP, understanding emerging financial technologies, tools, and products is required, advanced Excel skills are required.
