About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Sierra Solutions. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the operational lifecycle of contracts and ensuring the efficient and compliant use of our Ariba contracts platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the contracting process, including reviewing contracts and working closely with our legal team to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with representatives from other departments and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of master service agreements and subagreements.
  • Provide leading practices and guidance on contracting processes and best use of the Ariba module.
  • Act as a point of escalation and liaison with our offshore operations team across procurement-to-pay functions and stakeholders.
  • Provide end-user support for the Ariba system and ensure a positive user experience.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and other metrics to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Participate in the organization and facilitation of trainings, training documentation, and conference calls as needed.
  • Improve the overall Ariba user experience through training, change management, and problem resolution.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate the Ariba contracts process timely.
  • Establish policies and procedures in compliance with best practices.
  • Participate in improvement efforts in processes and procedures to increase efficiencies while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Work to reduce cycle times and understand bottlenecks.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contracts management, review, negotiation, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge and interpretation of contracts language.
  • Ability to make quality business decisions and take action.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba and a large ERP system, preferably SAP.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Ability to multitask, with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
