Job Overview:
The Senior Incident Management Specialist will oversee the technical aspects of the production support environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, technical, and documentation skills. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. A solid understanding of standard practices and procedures within an IT department is highly desirable.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in training and knowledge transfer related to administration.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities are essential.
  • Process Orientation: A process-driven mindset is required.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Service Management: Basic knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, and IIS Manager services.
  • Hands-On Experience: At least 3 years of practical experience in installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Batch Development: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in batch development.
  • Workload Management: Ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Independence: Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities include:

  • Conducting analysis and assessments of the current environment, providing recommendations for enhancements and modifications to boost efficiency.
  • Performing initial investigations to validate issues.
  • Assembling and leading a technical team.
  • Facilitating communication with business stakeholders.
  • Scheduling and leading team meetings.
  • Coordinating team efforts until resolution is achieved.
  • Creating comprehensive documentation.
  • Participating in an on-call rotation after a designated period.

  • Minimum Experience: 6 years
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required

Proficiency in Incident Administration and Production Support.
