Partner Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Partner Development Manager to lead our Regional System Integrator (RSI) partnership strategy and growth. This role will develop and execute plans to drive mutual success with our RSI partners, leveraging their regional, industry, and technology integration capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the partner ecosystem and a proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships. They will be responsible for managing a portfolio of RSI partners, developing and executing joint business plans, and driving co-selling activities to drive revenue growth.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of existing RSI partners, including field engagement, mutual KPIs, enablement strategy, solution plays, a GTM plan, a marketing plan to support the sales effort, and a delivery plan and skills development.
- Onboarding new RSI partners and helping them develop and launch Confluent-based solutions and services.
- Driving net new partner-sourced opportunities quarterly.
- Qualifying and converting inbound leads into opportunities for our sales teams.
- Enabling partner access to Partner Program benefits, Partner Portal, and other partner resources.
- Triangulating SI with other parts of the ecosystem, including Cloud Services Providers and ISVs.
- Facilitating co-selling opportunities, account mapping, and other sales engagements between Confluent's field sales and the partner sales teams.
The successful candidate will be an expert on all aspects of Confluent and will present at QBRs, executive meetings, training, and trade events. They will be a strong communicator and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. A minimum of 7 years of related experience in partner sales, business development, and/or partner development is required.
