Position Summary:

Studio71 is seeking a Music Talent and Digital Strategy Manager to oversee the management of music talent relationships, optimize digital content strategies, and diversify revenue streams. This role is central to managing sound recordings, music videos, and publishing assets across YouTube and other digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with music talent, providing personalized guidance on career development, digital content strategy, and branding.
  • Design and execute digital content strategies that enhance the visibility, engagement, and revenue of music assets on YouTube and other platforms.
  • Oversee the management and monetization of sound recordings, music videos, and publishing assets, ensuring they are optimized for maximum revenue from both direct and third-party uploads.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to diversify revenue streams, including music claiming, distribution, and branded integrations.
  • Utilize YouTube's Content ID and other rights management tools to protect and maximize the earnings from music content.
  • Stay informed on music and digital media trends, using data-driven insights to adjust strategies and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with artists, labels, and brand partners to develop and execute integrated campaigns that align with the artist's brand and expand their reach and revenue.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the music industry, with a strong focus on digital content strategy, rights management, and revenue diversification.
  • Deep knowledge of music publishing, copyright laws, digital distribution, and monetization platforms.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of managing artist and industry partner relationships.
  • Expertise in YouTube content strategy and the use of digital rights management tools like Content ID.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement actionable strategies that drive success.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for music and innovation in the digital space.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in music talent management, digital strategy, or a related field.
  • BA/BS degree from an accredited university, preferably in Music Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Proven success in managing music content and optimizing revenue on YouTube or similar digital platforms.

Salary Expectations:

Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000 annually + benefits + Commission.

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.

In addition to base salary, the successful candidate will also be eligible to receive bonus incentive compensation based on the achievement of applicable sales goals.
