Company Overview: FDS Distributors is seeking to recruit a Field Sales Executive to enhance the sales of our premium fencing products. The Field Sales Executive will be instrumental in promoting our Certified Installer Program while collaborating with various fencing contractors within the designated sales area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales objectives by acquiring new clients, upselling to current clients, and consistently closing deals for our fencing solutions.
  • Engage with all FDS branches to identify top contractors, focusing on those with strong relationships, good reputations, and expertise in privacy fencing.
  • Develop and sustain relationships by understanding client needs, delivering exceptional customer service, and promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Leverage the Certified Installer Program to boost sales with participating contractors.
  • Address inquiries from homeowners associations and commercial buyers; coordinate opportunities with contractors and conduct presentations as needed.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, attending networking events, and utilizing various channels to identify potential clients.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings while managing objections.
  • Exhibit strong time management skills, maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and strategy teams to provide insights and feedback on targeted initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions, adapting strategies as necessary.
  • Continuously update knowledge on sales techniques, technology, and industry developments.

Education & Experience:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the distribution or construction products sector.
  • Experience in promoting and upselling solutions to foster customer loyalty.
  • Familiarity with fence distribution and supply chain operations is advantageous.
