Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Strategy, the Field Sales Executive is responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will provide comprehensive and suitable solutions for each client to enhance revenue growth, customer acquisition, and profitability. Your tasks will include:

  • Independently identifying, generating, and securing new sales opportunities through both inside and outside sales.
  • Establishing capacity and nurturing relationships with carrier partners.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of accounts through the Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Overseeing all aspects of account management for transportation brokerage accounts.
  • Collaborating effectively within the brokerage team.
  • Presenting and promoting company products and services to both new and existing clients.
  • Proactively reaching out to potential customers through various communication methods.
  • Building and sustaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
  • Achieving agreed-upon sales targets.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints.
  • Negotiating contracts with prospective clients.
  • Scheduling follow-up appointments to keep clients informed of developments.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the logistics and third-party logistics (3PL) industry.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Demonstrated success as a Sales Representative.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented with a proven sales track record.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of customer and carrier organizations.
  • Strong negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong relationship management skills and receptiveness to feedback.
  • Proficient in phone and email communication, with the ability to multitask and assist clients as needed.
  • Solid understanding of MS Office, Windows, and basic business software.
