Position Overview

The Sales Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for all clients at ANN SACKS, embodying 'The Ann Sacks Way'. This position involves collaborating closely with the sales team and the Showroom Manager to enhance client interactions and operational efficiency. Success in this role is defined by the effective execution of both client-facing and operational responsibilities that align with the showroom's sales and client engagement objectives. Opportunities for professional advancement may include progression to Design Sales Consultant roles.

Key Responsibilities

Client-Facing Duties

  • Serve as a welcoming Concierge, guiding clients through their showroom journey.
  • Conduct thorough client assessments, catering to various client types including design professionals and homeowners.
  • Manage and direct customer inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Utilize Salesforce for documenting client interactions, including inquiries and requests for quotes.
  • Provide assistance to clients on the showroom floor as needed.
  • Support the sales team with quote generation as required.

Showroom Operations Duties

  • Collaborate with the Showroom Manager to maintain sample inventory, including placing orders and receiving shipments.
  • Ensure the availability of office supplies, hospitality items, and marketing materials.
  • Assist in the merchandising of showroom displays.
  • Develop a strong understanding of product offerings and showroom layout.
  • Participate in showroom maintenance and light housekeeping tasks.
  • Acquire knowledge of all product lines and specifications.

Marketing & Client Engagement Activities

  • Assist in the preparation of client appointments, promotional materials, and follow-up communications.
  • Provide operational and hosting support for showroom events.
  • Manage Salesforce administration for material leads and follow-up tasks.
  • Support social media initiatives as directed by management.
  • Help manage retail assortment and achieve monthly sales goals.
  • Oversee inventory management and reporting for retail products.
  • Undertake additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A strong desire for growth and a passion for design, architecture, and creativity are essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience or 1-2 years in retail sales, preferably within a luxury brand or design/building materials sector.
  • Educational background in Interior Design or Business with a focus on Management or Marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and intermediate skills in MS Office are required; experience with Salesforce or CRM software is advantageous.
  • Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational and collaborative skills, alongside strong verbal and written communication abilities. Exceptional customer service skills are crucial for fostering long-term business relationships.

The hourly range for this position is $27.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors including experience, education, and work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
