Job Summary

Galen Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. As a key member of our vascular surgery department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to determine patient needs and assist with providing quality medical care.
  • Conduct patient interviews, take vital signs, and collect data accurately.
  • Prepare examination and treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments are clean and sterilized.
  • Assist with minor office procedures, including phlebotomy and laboratory procedures.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a licensed practical nurse program from a nationally accredited institution.
  • Active LPN license in the State of Tennessee or any other participating compact state.
  • Previous clinical and phlebotomy experience.
  • BLS training and certification.
  • Ability to document in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.
