Plasma Center Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility accurately and in a timely manner, including proper management of informed consent, medical history interview, and physical examination.
- Evaluate and manage donor reactions, which occurs at the facility, and follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies.
- Manage donor deferral, reviews test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results per applicable SOPs.
- Initiate and investigate Post Donation Information (PDI) and refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs when needed.
- Assist the EHS program as required, including conducting pre-placement evaluations of new hires and maintaining employee medical records.
- Graduate of a recognized educational program.
- Minimum of two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Ability to multi-task, work as a team player, and provide exceptional customer service to donors and staff.
