Job Description

EN Management is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in the Chattanooga area. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient information by interviewing patients, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of the visit.
  • Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests such as blood pressure, weight, and temperature.
  • Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records.
  • Deliver overall support for Providers and clinic operations.
  • Instruct patients on collection of any necessary samples and tests.
  • Give injections, administering prescribed medications as directed by provider and in accordance with nursing standards.
  • Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions.
  • Ensure that patient chart entries are made accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments.
  • Arrange referrals to a specialist and obtaining pre-authorizations when directed to by the Provider.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree/Certification, or cumulative experience.
  • Phlebotomy skills are required.
  • Professional appearance at all times.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand/sit for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Experience with EMR systems.
  • Adaptable in differing situations.
  • Able to multi-task and work independently.

What We Offer:

  • $18.00 per hour.
  • $1,000 sign-on bonus.
