About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer who excels in crafting scalable and high-performance SaaS solutions. If you have a strong background in Java development and enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative setting, this position is tailored for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Development: Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of robust SaaS applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka. Your role will involve creating microservices that are both scalable and maintainable.
  • Microservices Design: Architect and implement microservices frameworks, ensuring effective integration and communication among services. Your proficiency in Spring Boot will be essential for developing modular components.
  • Data Streaming with Kafka: Utilize Kafka to construct distributed data processing systems, guaranteeing real-time data flow and high system availability. You will also optimize Kafka settings and resolve any arising issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, DevOps teams, and fellow developers to deliver top-notch software that aligns with business objectives. You will engage in the complete software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment.
  • Performance Tuning: Evaluate and enhance application performance, ensuring our SaaS platforms can manage significant traffic and large datasets with minimal latency.
  • Continuous Enhancement: Actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of our codebase, architecture, and development methodologies. Staying informed about the latest industry trends and technologies is expected.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship to junior developers, aiding in their professional growth and enhancing team contributions.


Qualifications:
  • Java Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in Java development, with a solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Spring Boot Proficiency: Extensive experience with Spring Boot for developing microservices and RESTful APIs, including familiarity with Spring Security and Spring Data.
  • Kafka Experience: Demonstrated experience with Apache Kafka, including the setup of Kafka clusters and management of Kafka topics.
  • SaaS Development Background: Proven experience in developing and scaling SaaS applications, focusing on multi-tenancy and performance optimization.
  • Database Knowledge: Strong experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), including schema design and query optimization.
  • DevOps Familiarity: Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins, with experience in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Agile Experience: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with the ability to adapt to evolving requirements.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting complex issues effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly in microservices deployment.
  • Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for managing containerized applications.
  • Commitment to Learning: A strong desire to learn new technologies and stay updated with industry advancements, especially in cloud computing and distributed systems.
