Stanford University Department of Neurology is seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Manager 2 to independently oversee and coordinate a variety of clinical research initiatives, which may include both small-scale studies and extensive trials.

  • Oversee critical components of research projects and implement effective strategies for participant recruitment and retention.
  • Lead data management processes, ensuring precise collection, reporting, and analysis of research data.
  • Establish project timelines and provide supervision to new team members or students as required.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and develop comprehensive study budgets.
  • Monitor project milestones, maintain compliance with regulations, and assist with applications to regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline along with two years of experience in clinical research.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems.
  • Familiarity with research protocols, HIPAA, FDA regulations, and Good Clinical Practices.
  • Experience with medical terminology and certification from recognized organizations is preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to perform various tasks, including desk-based computer work and lifting items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Minimize exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases.

Work Environment:
