Role Summary: We are looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator Associate to manage multiple clinical trials under the guidance of the Principal Investigator and Senior CRC. This role involves collaboration with a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison with research participants, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate the collection and processing of study specimens.
  • Gather and manage patient and laboratory data for clinical research initiatives.
  • Oversee research project databases, develop flow sheets, and complete necessary study documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to research protocols and conduct audits of case report forms for accuracy.
  • Prepare regulatory submissions and manage Institutional Review Board renewals.
  • Assemble study kits, monitor scheduling of procedures, and coordinate documentation.
  • Attend monitoring meetings with sponsors, serving as the main point of contact.
  • Monitor budget adherence and resolve billing issues in collaboration with finance staff.
  • Maintain essential documentation and patient data in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in monitoring visits and regulatory audits.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required, with a preference for candidates possessing 1-2 years of clinical trial experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with medical terminology is essential.

Certification pursuits for basic patient measurements and tests, such as phlebotomy and EKG, are encouraged.

Physical Requirements: The role may involve occasional lifting of objects up to 40 pounds, desk-based tasks, and working in environments with potential exposure to hazardous materials.

Work Environment: Flexibility in work hours may be necessary based on research needs, including occasional evenings and weekends.
