Position Summary: The Casino Host role is pivotal in attracting new patrons to enhance our gaming community and boost revenue. This position focuses on ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty through effective communication strategies, including telemarketing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a natural aptitude for customer service, a dedication to guest satisfaction, and a proactive approach to service recovery when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Casino Marketing team to drive revenue growth.
  • Establish and nurture personal relationships with guests, delivering outstanding service to maintain these connections.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of casino games, ongoing promotions, and the benefits of our loyalty program.
  • Assist in promoting new loyalty program enrollments.
  • Coordinate reservations, transportation, and accommodations for guests.
  • Utilize sound judgment in decision-making, adhering to established guidelines for comp and expenses.
  • Support player development events as needed.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Competencies:

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, particularly in telemarketing and guest interactions.
  • Ability to make independent decisions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that inspire confidence and authenticity in interactions with guests and team members.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not include supervisory duties.

Work Environment: The role is performed in both office and casino settings.

Position Type and Work Hours: This is a full-time role requiring flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work varied days and times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional education or training in sales and marketing is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in casino, hospitality, telemarketing, or a customer service environment.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various documents, respond to inquiries, and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in a second language is advantageous.

Age and Certifications: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid gaming license and alcohol awareness certification prior to employment.
