Who You Are:

As a Merchandise Planning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial merchandise strategies aimed at optimizing sales, profitability, inventory management, and turnover goals for the Jimmy Choo Retail outlets and Ecommerce platforms across the US and Canada. You are a seasoned planner adept at managing substantial volumes in a dynamic environment. This role will require collaboration across various functions including our global team, procurement, allocations, finance, marketing, and store operations to establish business objectives and ensure alignment among teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee and implement comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly merchandise and store reporting, along with any ad hoc reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and revise the key item planner/OTB on a monthly basis.
  • Conduct post-season evaluations to pinpoint successes and areas for improvement by category, depth, SKU, and sell-through rates.
  • Coordinate with Logistics and IT departments to ensure the accuracy of the inventory database.
  • Manage the buying preparation and OTB processes, collaborating with the VP to plan and forecast future merchandise acquisitions based on historical data and current stock levels.
  • Identify and propose strategies to enhance sales versus stock opportunities through reorders, transfers, and monitoring of receipts.
  • Oversee, analyze, and refine core inventory build and stock models for replenishment orders.
  • Engage in cross-training initiatives and various departmental functions during peak periods.

You'll Need to Have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in retail planning, encompassing merchandising, forecasting, and allocation within a retail context.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (advanced skills with Macros are highly desirable).
  • Willingness to work in the NYC office three days a week.
