Position Summary: As a Controls Engineer, you will utilize standard engineering methodologies to design, develop, and maintain instrumentation and control systems. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the efficiency and reliability of these systems, which are crucial for the smooth operation of various processes and technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation & Process Enhancement: Implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes through advanced instrumentation and control systems.
  • PLC Development: Create and modify PLC applications, interfaces, and embedded control systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Enhance existing PLC or HMI applications and ensure their effective integration.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation and operating procedures.
  • Safety Standards: Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality policies to maintain a compliant work environment.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other tasks as required to support team objectives and operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A bachelor's degree along with 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting is typically required.
  • Knowledge: Proficient understanding of Beckhoff PLC control systems, Fanuc machine controllers, and Allen Bradley PLC systems. Experience with integrating IoT with machine controls and PLEX MRP systems is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong ability to interpret work instructions, follow verbal and written directions, and communicate effectively. Must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
