Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Specialist to assist in the repair and maintenance of our equipment and machinery. If you have a passion for hands-on work and a knack for solving electrical issues, we want you to be part of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine and complex electrical maintenance on plant equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical breakdowns related to machinery, utility services, and building infrastructure.
  • Tool & Part Specification: Identify and specify necessary electrical tools, parts, and spare stock to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to repair and maintain electrical systems according to diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Documentation & Standards: Accurately complete all necessary documentation and adhere to 5S standards to maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the team and operations.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of electrical systems, assembly, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, troubleshoot Programmable Logic programs, work hands-on with any project, Strong fundamental knowledge of PLC's (Allen Bradley, Siemans) and related controls and electrical system design and its application in automated machine tool systems and effectively understand how to create, program, and manipulate PLC software and ladder logic.
  • Skills: Ability to interpret work instructions, follow written and verbal directions, and communicate effectively. Must demonstrate manual dexterity and physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
