Job Overview

This position requires extensive travel, with assignments lasting from 3 to 5 weeks at a time. All travel expenses and accommodations are covered by the company, along with a competitive per diem. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record, in addition to demonstrating a strong work history.

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility is to safely and effectively clean bulk storage containers and various industrial sites while adhering to all safety protocols, customer requirements, and company policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Interaction

  • Engage respectfully with clients and vendors.
  • Avoid technical discussions with clients or their representatives.
  • Exhibit an understanding of customer/vendor dynamics through relevant experiences.

Effective Communication

  • Participate actively in on-the-job training by asking relevant questions and executing tasks successfully.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Read and understand instructions and correspondence; ask questions as needed and perform assigned tasks.

Documentation

  • Complete all necessary documentation, including DOT logbooks and expense reports, in a clear and timely manner.

  • Maintain respectful interactions with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Show initiative and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate reliability through excellent attendance and punctuality; work overtime as required.
  • Present oneself professionally in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure confidentiality of proprietary processes and equipment.
  • Report any mistakes or potential issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Use company resources responsibly.

Physical Demands

Ability to perform manual labor for extended hours, including working in safety-sensitive environments, high altitudes, or confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.

Safety and Compliance

  • Take responsibility for personal conduct and obligations.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to safety and risk management.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
  • Utilize appropriate safety gear and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Hold certifications in air monitoring, confined space entry, DOT regulations, and drug-free compliance.
  • Complete necessary training courses as specified by the company.

Technical Skills

  • Demonstrate basic mechanical skills and the ability to use hand tools safely.
  • Exhibit proficiency in basic electrical tasks and the operation of electrical tools.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Handle machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, requiring a valid passport.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One to three months of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Skills Required

  • Ability to read and interpret safety documents and manuals.
  • Proficient in writing reports and communicating effectively.
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.

Physical and Work Environment

Employees may be exposed to various environmental conditions, including moving machinery, high places, and hazardous materials. The role requires regular physical activity, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
