Position Overview

CorVel Healthcare Corporation, a prominent provider in health management and billing technology, is seeking a dynamic and motivated IT Manager. This role will oversee CorVel's Telecommunications and Networking teams, providing support to various offices nationwide. The IT Manager will take on a dual role, leading a team while also engaging in hands-on technical responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful track record in managing an effective IT team, coupled with direct, practical experience in supporting an enterprise-level network. Candidates should be exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams.

This position is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the team, including conducting daily meetings, managing projects, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Provide technical expertise for the areas managed by the team.
  • Remove obstacles to enable the team to operate efficiently and meet deadlines and established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain high-quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
  • Work independently towards the common objectives of the department and the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Proven management experience leading a technical team with operational duties.
  • Experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco NDFC, Cisco ISE, F5, and related applications.
  • Proficient in supporting Cisco telecommunication systems, including planning and executing upgrades.
  • Experience with enterprise-wide telecom solutions.
  • Familiarity with Azure Networking is a plus.

Compensation:

CorVel employs a market-based approach to compensation, and salary ranges may vary based on location. Pay rates are determined by factors such as federal, state, and local minimum wage laws, geographic location differentials, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions. These ranges are subject to change.

For roles with multiple levels (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.), new hires may be assigned to a different level based on an assessment during the interview process, considering experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position. The level may influence the salary range, and these adjustments will be clarified during the offer process.

Salary Range: $79,704 – $132,692
