Position: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Role Summary: We are in search of a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who will play a pivotal role in managing our Azure AVD and SCCM environments. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical foundation and a keen focus on processes related to endpoint systems and associated technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver technology solutions and products according to the established roadmap, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide strategic advice and direction to implement plans and procedures, ensuring adherence to schedules and performance metrics.
  • Offer advanced support for operations and support teams, conducting root cause and preventative analyses.
  • Act as a technical resource for the Client Support Services Team, providing expert-level assistance.
  • Facilitate support for all aspects of the End User Computing environment, emphasizing Endpoint Security Protection and application management.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to devise effective solutions.
  • Oversee the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment, including image creation, VM deployment, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop automated processes for software package deployment, application updates, and workstation imaging.
  • Engineer and maintain multiple Windows desktop images.
  • Manage the lifecycle of global standard desktop and laptop models.
  • Maintain desktop images and adjust SCCM task sequences as necessary.
  • Monitor alerts from desktops using CyberArk.
  • Support and manage the PXE environment utilizing 1E products.
  • Provide level 3 support for escalated end-user issues.
  • Oversee Microsoft and third-party patch deployments.
  • Package, test, and deploy new applications as required.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve objectives for the End User Computing environment.
  • Enhance and maintain the existing Knowledge Base.
  • Create and update support documentation to uphold high standards in the delivery of End User Computing services.

Technical Qualifications:
  • Experience in desktop support within an enterprise setting.
  • Proven expertise with Windows 7/10, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
  • Experience in developing and testing software packages using tools like InstallShield or similar.
  • Proficient in managing a CDI environment, preferably Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Advanced skills in SCCM administration, including patch management, imaging, scripting, MSI, packaging, and automation.
  • Expertise in Endpoint Protection Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years of overall work experience, with at least 5 years in designing and implementing Microsoft Intune solutions.
  • 5 years of experience in administering and deploying software using SCCM in a global context, developing and maintaining workstation images.
  • High proficiency in patch management, including BIOS and firmware updates, service pack upgrades, and application updates.
  • Basic experience in Database Administration, particularly with SQL Server.
