We are currently seeking a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic Technology Practice.

CohnReznick operates as a hybrid firm, with most of our professionals located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This role is designated as remote, meaning that job responsibilities do not need to be performed within close proximity to a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to attend a CohnReznick office with prior notice for client engagements, team meetings, or training sessions.

YOUR TEAM.

This position will be part of our Technology team. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer's primary responsibility is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support essential business functions. This is accomplished through monitoring, maintaining, deploying, supporting, and optimizing all Windows Servers, storage solutions, Azure resources, and application systems. The Systems Administrator will utilize proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate, and resolve issues, maximizing the value of IT systems investments.

YOUR ROLE.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee Microsoft Server systems infrastructure, including Microsoft Windows Domain functions.
  • Manage Azure resource creation, administration, and monitoring.
  • Administer and support VSphere 7.x and Hyper-V environments.
  • Oversee Data Center/Server Room/Cloud operations.
  • Implement server backup and restoration using Rubrik and other solutions.
  • Manage existing virtualization solutions and deploy additional solutions both on-premises and in the Azure cloud.
  • Support and administer Hyper-Converged Infrastructure.
  • Facilitate VM replication to alternate locations.

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer/Systems Administrator.
  • Strong expertise in Azure and Windows server administration.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory and DNS.
  • Excellent prioritization, organization, time management, and communication skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written presentation and documentation abilities.
  • Capability to provide Tier 3 support to the support desk when necessary.
  • Ability to document any working environment using applicable tools.
  • Understanding of the existing technical environment and overall architecture.
  • Skill in identifying and executing appropriate escalation steps for problem resolution.
  • Consistent demonstration of effective and clear communication with all levels of IT.
  • VM Ware, MSCA, MCSE, or Azure certifications are advantageous.
  • PowerShell scripting experience is a plus.
  • Availability for weekend on-call coverage.
